The useful distinction
A service page answers a customer's question about a specific job: scope, process, evidence and how to ask for a quote. An area page explains the actual places served and any relevant differences in coverage or response. ScaleFrames' website subscription has no fixed cap on either type; see the website package. The content still needs truthful business details and an agreed scope for building and maintaining it.
Example: A painter who does interior painting, façades and window restoration may need separate service explanations. If the team works in Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa, a page for each area is useful only when coverage, examples or the customer's next step can be stated honestly. Repeating the same paragraph for 30 towns with swapped names gives the visitor little new information.
Decide which pages to create first
- List services you actively sell and areas you genuinely cover.
- Group overlapping services that share one buying decision.
- Prioritise the combinations with distinct customer questions or proof.
- Link from the area overview to the relevant service, and from the service to a suitable contact route.
- Review enquiries and search data before expanding.
A service business may need five strong pages before it needs fifty. “Unlimited” also does not mean unlimited redesigns, instant publication of every requested page, a location office in each town or guaranteed indexation. Ongoing SEO work is separate from the website's foundational setup. Read how local SEO is planned and how the website is delivered.
If your trade has a specific buying path, explore industry pages and published website examples. Then book a review of your services and coverage before ordering pages that do not solve a customer question.
